Empathy vs. Sympathy

Call it attunement, rapport or empathy; research in the benefits of emotional intelligence reveal that a key enabler of persuasion, negotiation and sales is empathy.

Empathy also allows us to create “participation safety” within teams to leverage diversity, as opposed to getting mired down in defensive and reactive actions.
